Voyage 2

A near-monochrome journey in reds, crimsons, pinks and plum, lifted by small touches of orange, lilac and white. At the centre a smiling pink figure with little white wings floats among a striped all-seeing eye, a star inside a wheel, flowers, a crown and a checkerboard. A washed, slightly weathered paint surface gives the wood a warm, aged glow. A companion to the painting Voyage, reimagined as a shaped relief.
