Cherry Blossom

A departure into hard-edged abstraction. Angular planes of flat colour are separated by thin white lines instead of the usual black, and the layered wooden pieces cast real shadows onto the wall. Blue with white polka dots, checkerboard squares, a single watchful eye and a pink bloom near the top hint at spring in full flower. Clean, bright and architectural.
