The Maze

The Maze is a powder coated metal sculpture by Ihab Ahmad, a Lebanese contemporary artist living in Dubai. In matte black, a dense web of rounded and angular shapes winds across the surface: a crown, an eye, a checkerboard, open hands and heart-like forms. There is no single path through it, and the eye keeps finding new routes and new figures. Made in 2025 and measuring 10 x 40 x 36 cm, the piece stands on a slim black base and casts intricate shadows on the wall behind. A sculptural counterpart to his paintings, available to collectors from the Dubai studio.
