Wind Carpet

Wind Carpet is an original acrylic on canvas painting by Dubai-based Lebanese artist Ihab Ahmad. In a tall 60 x 100 cm format, interlocking shapes in cobalt, sky blue, red, soft pink and black rise like a figure carried on the breeze. Faces in profile, a watchful eye, a checkerboard and an open white hand emerge from the pattern, while sprayed blue dots drift across the pale background like air in motion. Painted in 2026, it shows the artist’s graphic style at its most refined. A striking piece of contemporary art for a hallway, study or narrow wall, available from the studio in Dubai.
