Be Bold

Be Bold is an original acrylic on canvas painting by Dubai-based Lebanese artist Ihab Ahmad. On a deep ultramarine ground, a cluster of rounded shapes outlined in thick black gathers like a crowd of characters. A large pink face smiles from the lower right beside an open white hand, while a wide eye watches from the top and a black and white checkerboard anchors the centre. Crayon-like hatching, dots and scribbles give every shape its own texture. Painted in 2024 and measuring 90 x 120 cm, it is a confident, cheerful work for anyone looking to buy original contemporary art in Dubai.
