Happy Face

Happy Face is an original acrylic on linen painting by Ihab Ahmad, the Lebanese contemporary artist based in Dubai. Measuring 100 x 100 cm, the canvas is covered edge to edge in a patchwork of greens, pinks, purples and blues, and every block holds its own small symbol: a fish, a crown, a keyhole, a leaf. At its heart a round grey face smiles out, joined by a watchful cat-like figure and a single wide eye, all held together by deep red outlines. Painted in 2024, it is a joyful statement piece for collectors of modern art in Dubai and beyond, available directly from the artist’s studio.
