A calm, earthy canvas in sage, lilac, ochre, dusty pink and soft blue, drawn with warm brown outlines. Houses, trees, stars, flowers, a blue bird and a crowned eye at the top edge fit together like a patchwork, with small rain-like dashes falling between them. Quieter in colour than most works in the collection, it has the gentle feel of a storybook landscape.
